Speech

therapy

Our principle is

"communication beyond words"

What do we do in speech therapy?

We help your child to communicate. We do not only teach new words, but we teach to express him/herself in the way he or she is most comfortable, whether that is speaking, using gestures or AAC (alternative augmentative communication).

Your child will enjoy a variety of multi-sensory experiences, games and activities and you will learn how to help him/her.

We can help your child:

  • If your child does not speak yet

  • If your child does not pronounce well

  • If your child does not have conversations

  • If your child stutters

  • And more...

Frequently asked questions

Can I join my child's therapy sessions?

Of course! If your child is young, you should join the session to learn how to apply the strategies at home.

How does a language assessment work?

First, you will have a meeting with the therapist to learn about your child's language development.

Then, activities will be performed to encourage your child's communication. The therapist will be observing and evaluating.

Finally, objectives, expectations, and next steps will be discussed with the therapist.

What is the frequency and duration of each session?

Session frequency (1-5 times per week) and duration (30-60 minutes) vary depending on your child's unique learning style and needs.

After the evaluation, your therapist will inform you about the recommended frequency and duration.
