What do we do in occupational therapy?

Did you know that if your child processes and responds to sensory information appropriately, he or she will learn better?

Therefore, through play and adapted activities, the occupational therapist will help your child regulate his or her sensory responses and reach the maximum potential in physical, cognitive and emotional development.

We can help your child:

  • If your child has difficulty developing gross or fine motor skills

  • If your child has problems doing everyday activities such as dressing, eating or washing

  • If your child shows difficulties in learning or concentrating at school

  • If your child has problems regulating her emotions or responding appropriately to different situations

  • If your child has sensory sensitivities that affect his or her ability to participate in activities

  • If your child gets scared or stressed by any stimulus

  • If your child is very restless and does not measure risks

  • And much more...
