Code of conduct

Neuronaut is committed in providing services for all clients aligned with the core values in the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers and NDIS Code of Conduct ensuring that the services we provide are safe and effective.

We are involved in providing high quality services in a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. We respect individual needs and values.

Also Neuronaut is committed in providing services in a safe and ethical manner, with previous consent from our clients.

Our procedures and main lines of work are prepared to take appropriate action in response to adverse events and in compliment with relevant privacy laws.

We are aligned with NDIS code of conduct, so:

  1. We act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression.

  2. We respect the privacy of people with disability.

  3. We provide support and services in a safe and competent manner with care and skill.

  4. We act with integrity, honesty and transparency.

  5. We promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of supports and services provided to people with disability.

  6. We take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to any form of violence, exploitation, neglect, or abuse against people with disabilities.

  7. We take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct.

In the other hand we expect that our clients and their families to also uphold their

responsibilities to:

  • Be considerate and respectful of our team members and other clients. Everyone has a right to feel safe and comfortable.

  • Provide us with the right information.

  • Respect the privacy of other clients.

  • Provide feedback if the client (or their representative) has concerns, and ask for more information if anything is unclear.

  • Let us know if you are unable to attend an appointment.

Aggressive and threatening behaviour towards our team members will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to refuse services.
